City Light Students exists to help students Love, Live and Lead like Jesus.
We strive to implement this mission into our students lives through 3 critical elements of City Light Students
Weekly Program
Our weekly program consists of weekly worship, relevant teaching, and small groups led by a team of adult volunteers.
Small Groups
Each week, half of our program is comprised of students gathering in groups based on age and gender. Relationships are built in circles not rows. Here they seek to apply God’s word and grow in godly relationships with their leaders and friends. At City Light Students, our small groups are a place to belong, and to walk out the Christian faith within community.
Events
We believe that the Christian life is designed to be fun. At City Light Students we use events to help students grow in relationships and grow in their walk with the Lord. Each year we have two big events, Student Weekend in the Spring and Camp in the Summer. Throughout the year we have smaller events like baseball games, hiking trips, kickball and many more.

SUMMER CAMP @ SWO 2024 | JUNE 24-29TH
Join us for Summer Camp @ Snowbird Wilderness Outfitters. We would love for your student to join us! The dates are June 24-29th.
PUTT PUTT | APRIL 13TH
Masters Weekend Putt-Putt Tournament! We will gather together as a youth group to play putt-putt in honor of Masters Weekend!! The location will be at Adventure landing in Winston-Salem. The cost is $10 per person. We will meet at 2:30pm at the church and then return at the church by 5:30pm.
